We don’t make blank hats. Our caps are symbols of #notSweatshopShit. Makers for makers, artists, and movers+shakers. Thanks so much for all the love and for supporting our passion for sewing.
Hand wash cold and air dry . If you want to use a spot cleaner follow directions on bottle and hand wash. Can be steamed with an iron but don’t touch iron directly to hat just use steam function. Use NO fabric softeners !
Rainbow Black Denim :
The black Rainbow is RAW denim and will bleed on first rinse. We recommend brush off dust and spot clean only if absolutely necessary, and to use caution in the rain if has not been treated with an otter wax or scotch guard. Can also toss in cold gentle cycle in washing machine and air dry to get the first rinse of dye out of the way.
We accept returns of unworn caps within 14 days of you receiving it. Just email us if the cap isnt for you. No returns on custom orders. Due to limited nature of fabrics we have a no exchange policy .
April and Richer handmake every single thing from scratch here in PVD Rhode Island. Since 2012 we have hand cut and sewn over 2500 caps. We use USA milled denims and hardware and support small local business for things like pencils, shipping supplies etc. We love old sewing machinery and the textile heritage that New England has. The pencil pocket was an idea that came about from Richer woodworking and making cigar box ukuleles a few years back . Follow us on instagram @apeNbird for more.
